Half-Day and Full-Day Party Boat Excursions
This is the only party boat which is docked at Los Sueños Marina right next to the fishing charter boats. The marina is approximately a 20 minute drive from Jaco beach. This open air catamaran has plenty of seating on the main level, along with a second level where the captain is located. Below is a small bathroom for guest use.
There are 3 options available with this catamaran. 1) A Half Day Shoreline Cruise to Secluded Beach, 2) A Half Day Charter to Tortuga Island, and 3) A Full Day Charter to Tortuga Island.
This 39′ Catamaran is the only private party boat that can offer a half day trip to Tortuga Island. It is the fastest available which can get to Tortuga Island within 45 minutes! Also important to note that this catamaran offers some additional amenities at Tortuga Island which other boat operators do not have access.
This catamaran has the easiest access for those people that might find it difficult to board the other party boats that are anchored in Herradura Bay. This is the only party boat docked at Los Sueños Marina which makes for easy boarding, and is also equipped with a ramp that is used when arriving at Tortuga Island.

- Price listed up to 10 people. After 10, add $25/person up to a total max of 35 people.
$ 2,000 for Full Day to Tortuga Island
- Price listed up to 20 people. After 20, add $125/adult (14yrs and over), or $100/child (4yrs - 13yrs) up to a total max of 35 people.
- LOCATION:
Starting location is 20 minutes from Jaco.
Transportation is included (1 pick up and drop off location in Jaco, Hermosa or Los Sueños only).
- START TIMES:
- Half Day shoreline cruise is from 1pm to 6pm.
- Half Day private charter to Toruga Island is from 1pm to 6pm.
- Full Day private charter to Tortuga Island is from 8am to 4pm.
- Pick up is approximately 45 minutes prior to start time.
- WHAT TO BRING:
- Wear deck shoes, flip flops or sandals.
- Swimsuit and towel.
- Change of dry clothes.
- Sun screen.
- Sun glasses.
- Put your phone in a waterproof bag to keep it dry.
- Cash to tip the crew.
- Many basics are included with the party boat (see below). You can bring more beer, mixers or alcohol with you, as well as any snacks you might want during the day.
Half Day Shoreline Cruise To Secluded Beach
Transportation to and from the party boat is included within Jaco (1 pick up and drop off location only). Pick up is approximately 45 minutes prior to start time. The driver can make 1 quick stop at a grocery store if needed, but it is highly recommended to be prepared before hand so as not to waste time. It is a good idea to eat something before leaving the house… or get the sandwich upgrade (see below)!
Once aboard, your captain will cruise around the area to some secluded beaches a few minutes to the north. Here you can pair your phone to the sound system or party with a DJ (optional/additional cost), chill out, jump into the ocean, do some snorkeling and swim up to the beach. After this take a quick trip south to see Jaco Beach from the water.

Half Day Shoreline Cruise To Secluded Beach
The 39′ Catamaran is a popular choice for private charters to Tortuga Island because it is very fast (only 45 minutes travel time), offers easy access (docked at Los Sueños Marina and a ramp directly on the beach at Tortuga Island), and they have a great private set up on the island.
This nature reserve island is known for it’s white sandy beaches, clear warm waters, ocean activities and laid-back vibe. Most of the ticket boats depart the island at around 2 or 2:30pm which may give you the opportunity to enjoy the beach and facilities for a little while to yourselves.

- Beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys. This boat has a permanent designated area set up with rancho for serving food and beach chairs for lounging.

A $500 non-refundable security deposit is required to book a party boat. That deposit will go towards the cost of the charter. You will only lose the deposit if you cancel for any reason. If the captain cancels due to weather or any reason, you will be fully refunded.
